How can we Overcome Overthinking

When our mind is disturbed because of a past event or a situation we anticipate might happen, we often think excessively about it. The regrets of the past and worries about the future are the common reasons why most of us overthink. By engaging our mind in a futile activity, our mind becomes dull and tired, and we lose the enthusiasm for living even in the present moment. We can neither change the events of the past nor can we predict the future. We can accept past events, learn from them and improve ourselves. And for the events that haven’t happened yet, we can prepare ourselves and be hopeful that everything will happen for our best.
