If you ever find out that you think differently from everyone around you, don’t change. That’s your superpower. You have been set apart for a reason, and it also means that your competition will be that much less. Do not ruin it all by becoming like everyone else.When you stay true to yourself, you experience no competition because nobody else can be you. But society doesn’t like it when you’re different from them and they don’t understand you. So they call you uniqueness bad names to make you abandon it. They call you odd, awkward, abnormal, holy Joe, proud, or ‘you think you’re so special.’ What people don’t understand they always persecute. If you cave in and move from your uniqueness and into the crowd, you lose your power. Now you can’t even breathe. Everything becomes a struggle because you have to compete with thousands of people for everything. You don’t stand out anymore, and you must struggle for things like money and love. There’s a computer game where you’re supposed to rotate a descending block until you find the spot where it fits perfectly. The problem is that when you the spot, the block also disappears. It becomes a part of the wall. That’s the same case with you. If you manage to fit perfectly among your peers, you will disappear. Understand that you’re valid the way you are, and even when you don’t yet understand yourself fully, there’s a reason for being so different. Trust it. Defend it and continue unveiling your different personality. Your ability to stand for yourself while you’re still studying yourself is the test of life. If you’re too afraid and you join the crowd, you lose your soul.When you walk and talk like them, you will never know what it would feel if you remained yourself. But if you summon the courage to stay on your separate spot, you will be rewarded with inner peace and the fulfilment in everything you do. But this will only come after you win the battle for independence.
